Technical Calculators
Theoretical weights, flange dimensions and unit conversions — computed live as you type, downloadable as a PDF datasheet, and emailable to yourself or a colleague. Free, no sign-up.
Seven Calculators, One Standard of Accuracy
Each calculator shows the formula it uses, computes live from your inputs, and produces the same numbers server-side in the PDF — the document is recomputed from your inputs on the server, not printed from the screen.

How the Numbers Are Derived
- Theoretical weights come from the nominal dimensions you enter and the nominal density of the selected material family — exactly what is needed for estimation, freight planning and budgets
- Densities are the indicative family values from our material pages; a custom density can be entered for any alloy outside the list
- The flange calculator uses the published ASME B16.5 dimension tables and models the flange as a solid of revolution at the material density
- Conversions use exact SI definitions — 1 in = 25.4 mm, 1 lb = 0.45359237 kg — not rounded trade approximations
What the results are not. They are not certified weights: actual material carries dimensional tolerance and its own chemistry, so the certified weight of a specific lot can differ slightly. Invoicing uses actual figures.
PDF + email. Every calculator has a Download PDF button (inputs, results, formula, disclaimer) and an Email Results to Me button that sends the same PDF to any address after a server-side security check.
